Professor William C. Mattison III will deliver “Forgiveness: At the Heart of Who God Is and the Church’s Mission” as part of the Pilgrim Forum lecture at St. Norbert College.

The in-person event is free and open to the public. The breakfast lecture will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 17, at 7:30 a.m. in the Hendrickson Dining Room of the Bemis International Conference Center. Registration is required at https://snc.edu/go/pilgrimforum2021 before Nov. 8.

Mattison completed his doctoral studies at the University of Notre Dame. In addition to his professional duties, Mattison is the Wilsey Family Associate Professor in the department of theology and the senior advisor for theological formation in the Alliance for Catholic Education at the University of Notre Dame.

The Pilgrim Forum is a series dedicated to sharing information and spurring discussion around the basic tenets of the Catholic faith and tradition, specifically the Apostles' Creed. Each semester, speakers examine a portion of the creed, breaking it open in discussion with attendees to understand more deeply what they believe.
