In addition to his professional duties, Neilson is a frequent speaker at the Age and Disability Resource Center in Green Bay. His lecture, titled “Envisioning the Resurrection of the Body and Life Everlasting: A Survey of Artwork That Celebrates Credal Belief and the Christian Imagination” will explore via the visual arts, the meaning of the final creedal passage, “the resurrection of the body and life everlasting”.

The Pilgrim Forum is a series dedicated to sharing information and spurring discussion around the basic tenets of the Catholic faith and tradition, specifically the Apostles' Creed. Each semester, speakers examine a portion of the creed, breaking it open in discussion with attendees to understand more deeply what they believe.
