Thomas Bolin and Andrew O'Connor to Deliver Fall Pilgrim Forum Lecture at St. Norbert College

Thomas Bolin and Andrew O’Connor will deliver “Amen: Closing the Creed, Opening Doors” as part of the Pilgrim Forum lecture at St. Norbert College.

The event is free and open to the public. The breakfast lecture will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 7:30 a.m. in the Hendrickson Dining Room in F.K. Bemis International Center, 100 Grant St., De Pere. Registration is required at https://snc.edu/go/pilgrimforum2022 before Oct. 25.

Bolin is the author of three books and numerous essays and articles. His research focuses on the literature of early Judaism, the Books of Job and Ecclesiastes, and the history of biblical interpretation. Bolin is a professor of theology and religious studies at St. Norbert College.

O’Connor completed his doctoral studies at the University of Notre Dame in world religions and world church with an emphasis on Islamic studies. O’Connor is an assistant professor of theology and religious studies at St. Norbert College.

The Pilgrim Forum is a series dedicated to sharing information and spurring thought and discussion around the basic tenets of the Catholic faith and tradition " specifically, the Apostles’ Creed. Once a semester, speakers will examine a portion of the Creed, breaking it open in thought-provoking and accessible ways which invite attendees to understand more deeply what they believe.
