St. Norbert College spring band concert

On Sunday, April 29 at 2 p.m. in the Walter Theatre, Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts, St. Norbert College will host the spring band concert.

The St. Norbert College Concert Band and Wind Ensemble will be featured at this year's concert. The groups are composed entirely of students. The Concert Band, under the direction of Eric High, will perform Rossano Galante's "The Redwoods" and W. Francis McBeth's "Of Sailors and Whales."

The Wind Ensemble, directed by Frederick Schmidt, will play Charles Rochester Young's "Tempered Steel," George Gershwin's "Porgy and Bess Medley," Camille Saint-Saens's "Pas Redouble," Philip Sparke's "Suite from Hymn of the Highlands" and Alfred Reed's "El Camino Real."
