The Class of 2027 makes its way through the arch, welcomed by college faculty and staff in the time-honored tradition of Convocation.

Meet the Class of 2027

St. Norbert’s Class of 2027 is already two weeks into its first semester on campus, surely making friends, exploring extracurriculars and indulging in the homemade dessert station at the caf.

The class consists of nearly 500 first-year students from 18 states and nine countries. A bump up from years prior, 16.2 percent of the class identify as students of color. Overall, athletes and musicians make up a majority, and, as always, the students’ academic performance is impressive.

SNC’s annual snapshot has a lot to say about the incoming class:

They are eager learners
Academics were and are a top priority for the Class of 2027, gifting SNC with top-notch burgeoning scholars.

• 3.61 is the class’s average GPA
• 25 is the average ACT score, with 30 students scoring a 30 or higher
• 146 students had a GPA between 3.75 and 3.99
• 88 students held a 4.0 GPA or higher
• 17 were valedictorians and four were salutatorians
• 163 were members of the National Honor Society

They have strong interests in the arts and athletics
With proven success in athletics and the arts, this year’s first-year students have the drive and ambition to excel outside of the classroom.

• 395 were involved in athletics
• 110 were captains of a varsity sport
• 7 played on state championship teams
• 132 participated in vocal or instrumental activities
• 62 were members of student government

Service is in their DNA
Members of the Class of 2027 has shown a desire to give back to their communities.

• 1,844 volunteer hours were served
• Five students became Eagle Scouts
• Three students earned the Girl Scout Gold Award
• 86 participated in a community service group
• 14 went on mission trips
• 45 were involved in youth ministry or a community service group
