David Stillwell (Ensemble/Queen Victoria’s bodyguard) is excited to be in the “Mary Poppins” Musical.  He has been in the ensembles of two homeschool musicals in the past: “Wizard of Oz” and “Into the Woods”.  He loves to sing, play violin and piano. He is looking forward to being in a Shakespeare play at St. John Paul II Classical School next year as a 5th grader.  In addition to his love of music and acting, he enjoys playing hockey and swimming. David thanks his older brothers Joseph, Patrick, and Bart for being his model and inspiration in the world of music-theatre!
April Rose Strom-Johnson (Mrs. Corry, Queen Victoria) is thrilled to be a part of the Mary Poppins cast! April is from Oconto, WI, originally, but has lived in the Green Bay area since graduating from UW Green Bay. She has been a part of many wonderful shows through Theatre on The Bay, (Marinette WI) like; The Music Man, The Crucible, Red, Hot & Cole, and many others. Some of her favorite roles have been played right here at St. Norbert; like Respect, A Musical Journey of Women, South Pacific, and The Drowsy Chaperone. When not at the theatre, you will find April teaching her many private voice and drama students, or working as a Dignify Coach with Prophit, a local marketing and culture company.  She loves being on stage, but says her favorite role has always been Wife to her husband Bruce, Mom to her 4 boys and Nana to her grand-daughter River!
Brad Terrell (trumpet) has played for many musical events at St. Norbert College since becoming director Kent Paulsen’s favorite father-in-law many years ago. During the week he may be found at Broadway Automotive on Ashland where he recently celebrated his fortieth anniversary in the sales department. Brad has appeared in many musical productions and is currently seen performing with the Green Bay Civic Symphony. He would like to thank his lovely wife Sally, his eight children, eleven grandchildren and brand new great granddaughter, his Broadway, church, theatre, and music families for making every day wonderful! He dedicates his performance to the late Gerry Mattern, friend of the college and community. You are fondly remembered and truly missed.
Molly Tomashek (Ensemble) is a graduate of the SNC music department, class of ‘98, and is back doing theater after a brief 20-year hiatus. Molly would like to thank her family and friends for encouraging her to take a risk. In her younger and more vulnerable years, her father gave her some advice that she’s been turning over in her mind ever since: dancers to the front, singers to the back. Thanks, Dad.
Emily Helen Tomcek (Ensemble) is excited to be a part of the Mary Poppins cast! Emily is from Denmark, WI and will be entering her sophomore year at SNC in the fall. In high school, Emily had the opportunity to play ‘Mary Poppins’ her junior year, so she is thrilled to get to be apart of this amazing show for the second time! Aside from being involved in theatre all 4 years of high school, Emily continues to be active in her former high school theatre program as the head choreographer! This year will be her second year choreographing for the school. When Emily isn’t onstage, you can find her napping, working at her local McDonald's, or taking far too many pictures of her pet hedgehog, Cactus. Emily would like to thank her friends and family, especially her parents and wonderful boyfriend, for all the love and support!
Gabriela Van Beek (Ensemble) is very excited to be a part of this amazing show. Gabriela is from Green Bay, Wisconsin and is currently attending UW-Green Bay studying Elementary Education with the intent to become an ESL teacher. Although this is Gabriela’s first show, she has been dancing for 16 years, most recently a member of the UWGB Dance Team. She was also involved in choir during high school. When Gabriela is not dancing you can find her spending time with family and friends, listening to music, reading or watching youtube videos. She would like to thank her family and friends for the constant support of everything she does.
Rochelle Van Erem (Ensemble) is happy to return to SNC’s Summer Stage. She has painted, made props, ironed, sewed, produced or ushered for various local theater presentations, including A Little Night Music, August: Osage County, Cats, Frozen, Les Misérables, Next Fall, Sordid Lives and White Christmas. Onstage, she performed in Inherit the Wind, Miracle on 34th Street and in Theatre Z’s Play Reading Festival. Rochelle thanks her husband, Brian, and her dogs, Squeegee and Swiffer, for their patience and support.
Hannah Vanden Heuvel (ensemble) feels blessed to be a part of Mary Poppins! She has a strong passion for the performing arts. She has been dancing for 12 years and has attended Shirley Van’s Dance Studio with active membership in The Dance Company for 8 years. This past year she was cast as Fritz in The Nutcracker, Sven in Frozen and Moon in The Addams Family Musical. She would like to thank her dance teachers, directors, friends, and family for pushing her to do her best and providing her with many amazing opportunities.
Aaron Weber (Von Hussler/Ensemble) is joining St. Norbert Summer Stage for his first theater show ever and is very excited to be a part of it. Aaron is originally from Sturgeon Bay and has lived in Green Bay for 11 years graduating from UWGB in 2014 and working as a teacher. When not participating in theater you can find Aaron participating in triathlons, watching soccer, or spending time with his godsons, Dexter and William.
Katelyn Werner (Box Office Manager / Social Media) is in her 2nd year at SNC as the Box Office Manager. She was introduced into theatre by her older sister in the 7th grade and became more involved in the arts through high school. She decided to further pursue the arts in college and received an Arts Management Degree from UW-Stevens Point in 2015. During college, Katelyn worked a variety of Arts Administration internships and began her box office career at Barrington Stage Company in Pittsfield, MA. If you can’t find Katelyn in the SNC Box Office, she’s probably on a motorcycle ride, playing music, at a concert or binge-watching Gilmore Girls.
Steve Westergan (Cello) is a faculty member at SNC, where he gives courses on appreciating literature, music, and art and also teaches Latin. The cello has been an important part of his life for 50 years; he plays with the St. Norbert String Ensemble and was a member of the Green Bay Symphony for over 20 years. The version of Mary Poppins with Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke was his favorite movie when he was a kid, so he’s enjoyed being part of a new approach to the story’s sweetness and magic.
Morgan Wigman (Ensemble) is so thankful to have been in such a fun show this summer! Morgan will be attending UW-Eau Claire in the fall, hoping to major in education. She has been in productions with The Dance Company (Frozen, The Lion King Wizard of Oz, The Nutcracker), Evergreen (Peter Pan), and Green Bay East High School (A Chorus Line, Cinderella, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Awesome 80s Prom). This is Morgan’s first show with St. Norbert and she has had such an amazing time working with everyone!
Lorelei Zimmerman (Ensemble) is from Rosendale, WI and is eager to join the SNC Summer stage for the very first time. She will be attending her senior year as a Choral Music Education major at UWGB in the fall. Lorelei has been involved in all aspects of theatre since the second grade including acting, directing, and as a musician. Most recently, she played keyboard in the pit orchestra for UWGB’s production of Legally Blonde: The Musical and portrayed Pilot/Janie in The Wonder of the World.
