About the Lecture
Having journeyed through the Apostles' Creed from “I believe” to “Amen,” we now turn our attention to leaders and models of faith, purposefully considering what we can learn from the lives of saints, popes and Mother Mary. Sister Andrea Lee, IHM, will present the first of the series, sharing with us what the life of St. Teresa of Ávila means for us today.
About the Pilgrim Forum
The Pilgrim Forum is a series dedicated to sharing information and spurring thought and discussion around the basic tenets of the Catholic faith and tradition. Beginning in October 2014 the Pilgrim Forum engaged The Apostles Creed for over eight years. Our esteemed presenters - drawn from SNC scholars, church leaders, and nationally renowned theologians, considered the creed article-by-article as the series sought to shed light on its founder’s burning question - What does our faith mean to us today?
Having journeyed from “I believe” to “Amen,” we now turn our attention to leaders and models of faith, purposefully considering what we can learn from the lives of saints, popes and Mother Mary.
This series is made possible through the generosity of Dan Ritter (1932-2019).
