College-owned Houses

About the college-owned houses
The college-owned houses are available living options for upperclass students.

Each house is furnished with a stove and refrigerator, beds, desks, desk chairs and dressers for the residents. The college will also provide a vacuum cleaner, broom, dust pan, ironing board, toilet paper, and garbage bags. Coin operated washers and dryers are available in each house.

Repair work and yard maintenance are the responsibility of the college but residents are responsible for their own snow removal in college house driveways.

The houses are open during all campus breaks.

Residents are responsible for the utilities and telephone service.

The college-owned houses include a very basic cable package, which is different from the campus cable package. If you have questions about the cable channels in the houses please contact Media Services.  You can install additional channels at your own expense by contacting an outside cable provider.

Aside from the Rectory and the Convent, the college-owned houses are not provided with a connection to the campus internet.

City of De Pere ordinances

The college-owned houses are part of the De Pere community in addition to the St. Norbert College community. Residents of college-owned houses are expected to not only adhere to the rules and regulations as set forth by the college, but also to follow all City of De Pere ordinances.

Residents not following city ordinances can be ticketed and fined by the City of De Pere. A complete listing of all city ordinances can be found on the City of De Pere's web site.
