Freshman Halls
|

Bergstrom Hall
Bergstrom Hall is an all freshman coeducational hall. Residents of Bergstrom participate in
Communio, a liberal arts seminar designed to help first-year students establish a connection with others and explore the Catholic, Norbertine, and liberal arts traditions of the college. Each floor of Bergstrom has a central lounge with a television, study table and chairs, and a kitchen is located on the first floor.

Burke Hall
Burke Hall, named after the second president of St. Norbert College, is located along the banks of the Fox River. It is a four-story coeducational hall and is home to the largest number of freshman students. It boasts colonial style architecture and a lounge with a fireplace for quiet socializing and studying. Burke Hall also features a beautifully renovated chapel available for personal reflection and religious services.

Madelaine/Lorraine Hall
Madelaine/Lorraine Hall (Mad/Lor) is a coeducational hall divided down the center. Men occupy the west side of the hall, Madelaine, and women reside in Lorraine, the east side. Madelaine and Lorraine are joined by a common first-floor lobby and a shared basement housing a recreation room, study lounges and laundry facilities.

Sensenbrenner Hall
Sensenbrenner Hall is the only all female residence hall on campus. It is home to the
Joan P. Schaupp Women's Center, and the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, both available for student use. The basement lounge, containing a television, pool table, dart board, ping pong table and stereo system, serves as a great area to entertain guests and visit with friends.

Mary Minahan McCormick Hall (MMM)
Mary Minahan McCormick Hall (MMM) offers six floors of suite-style housing to students with a sophomore standing or above. Four students share a suite made up of two rooms connected by a private bathroom. Each floor of MMM has a study lounge and one large, newly renovated, group study is located on the first floor of the hall. MMM is unique in that it offers a substance-free section of housing to interested students.

Michels Hall
Michels Hall is the newest residence hall on campus. It is configured into 14 suite-style rooms each housing eight students. Each suite consists of four bedrooms and a shared bathroom and living area. Residents of Michels Hall are required to participate in the 3 Ships service program. The program is designed to emphasize the scholarship, leadership and citizenship of students and exemplify the Norbertine tradition of "self-emptying service."

Victor McCormick Hall (VMC)
Victor McCormick Hall (VMC) is a three-story coeducational hall available to students with a sophomore standing or above. It has a central open courtyard and suite-style rooms. Each suite is occupied by four students and consists of a study and living area, bedroom and private bathroom. The basement offers a large study room and a recreation area with a dart board, pool table and television.

Upperclass Options

Apartments
Riverside South and Vander Zanden Apartments offer upperclass students apartment-style accommodations. Each of the 22 four-person apartments have two bedrooms, and both of the two-person apartments have one bedroom. All of the apartments include a kitchen and a living area. The residents of the apartments are responsible for their utility costs. The apartments remain open during campus breaks.

Carriage House
The Carriage House is made up of three two-person apartments and four four-person apartments. Upperclass residents of the Carriage House have access to cable television and internet. Each apartment consists of a full-size kitchen, a living room, and a dining area in addition to bedrooms. The Carriage House remains open during campus breaks.

College-owned Houses
Twenty college-owned houses are available to upperclass students. Each house has a different number of rooms but all are furnished with a stove and refrigerator, beds, desks, desk chairs, and dressers for its residents. The college is responsible for repair work and yard maintenance. Residents are responsible for utilities, telephone services and snow removal. With the exception of the rectory and the convent, college-owned houses are not provided with an internet connection but do include a very basic cable package. The houses remain open during campus breaks.

Townhouses
There are 14 multi-level Townhouses available to upperclass residents. Each unit has three bedrooms, a dining area, living area, two bathrooms, full-size kitchen, and a shared balcony that overlooks the Fox River. Air conditioning, internet access and cable television are available to townhouse residents. Townhouse residents are responsible for their own electricity costs. The Townhouses remain open during campus breaks.
