OUT|LOUD Social Justice Ministry

OUT|LOUD Social Justice Ministry welcomes and accompanies everyone on their walk with Christ. All are welcome!

Who we are
OUT|LOUD is a ministry of the St. Norbert College Roman Catholic Parish. We celebrate the love of God through promoting racial justice, gender equality, and LGBTQ+ inclusion. 

Our Mission - Pursue P.E.A.C.E.
P.E.A.C.E. stands for Proclamation, Education, Accompaniment, Celebration and Empowerment. We stand alongside those of all sexual, gender, and racial identities as they continue on their faith journeys.
  • We proclaim the cornerstone of all Catholic social teaching; the dignity of the human person.
  • We educate by providing the most comprehensive Catholic resources available about gender, race, and sexuality. We uphold all official Catholic teachings and place them in dialogue with other theological voices.
  • We accompany everyone on their faith journey by showing respect, compassion, and sensitivity.
  • We celebrate the diversity within our church by being full participants in the life of the college and parish.
  • We empower our members to go out "and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19) proclaiming the Gospel with their lives.

The next large event, Following her Lead: Honoring Women's Leadership in the Catholic Church, is April 28, 2024.
