Jill Olson

Assistant Director

B.A., University of Wisconsin -Eau Claire

Jill Olson is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, with a Bachelors of Arts in Comparative Studies in World Religions and a minor in Political Science. Jill has been at the Norman Miller Center since 2018, having formerly served more than ten years as an event manager at the college. As Assistant Director, Jill supports and develops programming on issues of Peace and Justice with a focus on interfaith understanding and the contributions of Catholic Social Teaching. She has primary oversight of the college’s vital voter education and civic engagement efforts, and she supports faculty in the implementation of mini-grants and guest lectures provided by the Norman Miller Center. Jill especially enjoys mentoring student staff—something she has done both in her previous position and in her current role at the NMC—and she is proud to see them thriving professionally after they depart our campus.

Outside of St.Norbert, Jill loves to see live music, travel, sew, and camp. She especially loves spending time with her husband, two sons and their beloved mini-schnauzer.
