Training Sessions

The following trainings are provided to the SNC community. Please see each tab below for more information on in-person and online training options.

Online Training Courses

Title IX Online Courses 


NOTE: Changes in the program are in progress. This course will be available again in January 2021. 

  • It is required for Faculty, Staff, Student Workers, and Volunteers to complete the Not Anymore for Employees course in fulfillment of your Title IX online training
  • This will be required annually (once every academic year)
  • Enter the log-in ID and password you use for email

 

  • System change are in place, and soon this will be required. As of now we are only able to offer it to a limited number of students. We look forward to rolling this out to all students soon. Stay tuned!
  • Enter your SNC ID (the ID on your photo ID card)

  • It is required for International and ESL Students are required to complete the Title IX Essentials course.
  • This will be required annually (once every academic year)
  • Enter the log-in ID and password you use for email

Note: You may pause/stop the training and return to it at a later time.

Who is Required to Take an Online Course?

  • Faculty and Staff (including short-term employees and volunteers)
  • Student workers 
  • International students
  • Undergrad Students (implementation under way. System upgrades are in progress)

Completing the Course
There are multiple sections within the course to complete. As you complete individual sections, you will see a cirle that indicates the percentage of the full course that is complete. You may pause/stop the training and return to it at a later time.
When all sections are completed you will be able to view and print a certificate for your records.



In-Person Title IX Trainings

In-Person Opportunities for Faculty and Staff
Due to covid-19, we do not have current plans for in-person trainings for the academic year 2020-21. If you have questions, or want to make sure we reach out to you about the class, contact Christine Gill, christine.gill@snc.edu or call 403-3039.

Important Notes

  • Normally our in-person faculty and staff training sessions are mandatory for many staff/faculty. Online trainings are required in place of the in-person sessions, and will be required annually at this point in time.

In-Person Training Content
In-person trainings are designed to recap critical information that all members of the campus community must know and how these concepts relate to the updated Sex and Gender Harassment/Discrimination Policy.

As members of the St. Norbert College community, it is our collective responsibility to uphold a learning and working environment that is free of all forms of sexual and unlawful discrimination. This training is meant to facilitate an understanding of those institutional, managerial and individual responsibilities.

Objectives: 

  1. Review the following concepts: Title IX, sex discrimination, gender-based misconduct, sexual harassment and hostile environment.
  2. Overview of the Sex and Gender Harassment/Discrimination Policyat SNC.
  3. Discussion of applicable concepts and policy.
