In-Person Title IX Trainings

In-Person Opportunities for Faculty and Staff
Due to covid-19, we do not have current plans for in-person trainings for the academic year 2020-21. If you have questions, or want to make sure we reach out to you about the class, contact Christine Gill, christine.gill@snc.edu or call 403-3039.

Important Notes

  • Normally our in-person faculty and staff training sessions are mandatory for many staff/faculty. Online trainings are required in place of the in-person sessions, and will be required annually at this point in time.

In-Person Training Content
In-person trainings are designed to recap critical information that all members of the campus community must know and how these concepts relate to the updated Sex and Gender Harassment/Discrimination Policy.

As members of the St. Norbert College community, it is our collective responsibility to uphold a learning and working environment that is free of all forms of sexual and unlawful discrimination. This training is meant to facilitate an understanding of those institutional, managerial and individual responsibilities.

Objectives:

  1. Review the following concepts: Title IX, sex discrimination, gender-based misconduct, sexual harassment and hostile environment.
  2. Overview of the Sex and Gender Harassment/Discrimination Policy at SNC.
  3. Discussion of applicable concepts and policy.
