Jessica Adams Nelson

Program Director Wellness Promotion & Violence Prevention

Before coming to SNC, Jessica worked in a variety of places around the country. She has been housing coordinator and victim advocate at Wise Women Gathering Place, program director for a transitional home in Baltimore, Md., and been a victim advocate in Door County. She loves the vision of the VAWA grant and Wellness by Design program, and is thrilled to be a part of an organization capable of such valuable impact on others. Jessica also has her master’s certificate in non-profit management from Regis University, a bachelor of arts degree in sociology and peace, conflict & global studies from Northland College, and is a trained doula.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys yoga, the outdoors and traveling—she has been to all fifty states! She and her husband enjoy chasing after their toddler, and exploring new hiking trails. She cannot wait to continue her journey here at SNC.
