Fun Abounds All Summer Long

From the happiest of birthdays to events planned with the youngest of participants in mind, there’ll be chances this season on campus for reconnecting and connecting anew; for enjoying entertainment or simply relishing a beautiful summer evening. Reunions, live performances and community events make summer a pleasant time to visit the college. Why not consider adding one of these to your visit plans?

Father De Peaux’s 90th Birthday Party
Saturday, June 25. 4-9 p.m. ($ charge: evening celebration only)
A Mass and reception is followed by a celebration hosted by the fraternity brothers of Sigma Tau Gamma/Sigma Nu Chi to honor their beloved friend and advisor, the Rev. Rowland De Peaux, O.Praem., ’48. Registration is appreciated by June 17. 

Firecracker Run/Walk
Monday, July 4. 8 a.m. ($ charge)
A four-mile event to celebrate the glorious Fourth!

Sandlot Track & Field Meet
Thursday, July 14. 6:30 p.m. ($ charge)
This fifth annual meet opens track and field events to participants ages 4 and older – much older!

Knights on the Fox Concert Series
Tuesdays, July 12-Aug. 9. Tuesday, Aug. 2, is Alumni Night. Picnicking begins at 5 p.m., and concerts run 6:30-8 p.m.
This summer marks Knights on the Fox’s 14th anniversary season of free live music in a casual atmosphere along the banks of the Fox River. Big Mouth plays blues and jazz at the Alumni Night concert.

Summer Music Theatre
“Cats,” June 22-30. Various times. ($ charge)
“Into the Woods,” July 20-24. Various times. ($ charge)
The oldest musical theatre in Wisconsin has been entertaining summer audiences right here at St. Norbert for more than 55 years. This year’s line-up brings two smash-hit Broadway musicals to the region. 

SNC Day
Sept. 17. 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
