Fall Move-in Information

When should new students move in? 
New students can move in Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, from 9 a.m.-Noon. Bergstrom students can move in the day before (Aug. 20) from 9 a.m.-Noon. The check-in process will be held in your assigned hall. Housing assignments will be emailed in July. 

If you are moving into one of the seven traditional residence halls (Madelaine, Lorraine, Bergstrom, Mary Minahan McCormick, Burke, Sensenbrenner, Victor McCormick and Michels) you will need to check in directly at that hall. If there is not a table set up for check-ins, please call the RA on duty phone number for that hall. Those numbers are posted around the building.

When should new transfer students move in?
Transfer students can move in Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, from 9 a.m.-Noon. The check-in process will be held in your assigned hall.

If you are moving into one of the six traditional residence halls (Madelaine/Lorraine, Mary Minahan McCormick, Burke, Sensenbrenner, Victor McCormick and Michels), you will need ot check in directly at that hall. If there is not a table set up for check-ins, please call the RA on duty phone number for that hall, which will be posted around the building.

If you are moving into an upper class housing area (Carriage House, College Houses, Convent, Gries Hall, Rectory, Riverside/VanderZanden, Townhouses, Premontre or Xanten), check in will be at the Residential Education & Housing office in Todd Wehr Hall, room 111.

When should continuing students move in? 
Returning students can move in Friday, Aug. 22, 2014, from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. If you are moving into one of the seven traditional residence halls, the check-in process will be held in the assigned hall (Madelaine, Lorraine, Bergstrom, Mary Minahan McCormick, Burke, Sensenbrenner, Victor McCormick and Michels). Upperclass housing (Carriage House, College Houses, Convent, Gries Hall, Rectory, Riverside/Vander Zanden Apartments, Townhouses, Prémontré  or Xanten) can check in at Residential Education and Housing, located in Todd Wehr Hall, room 111.

Are you arriving early for athletics or campus employment? 
If you would like to arrive on campus early for a reason other than campus employment or athletics, you must be aware of early arrival expectations as well as submit an application on KnightLine for Residential Education and Housing by Aug. 2, 2014. Your coach or supervisor should contact Residential Education and Housing to verify your early arrival dates. If you have any questions, please contact your coach or supervisor.  

Arriving early for another reason? 
You must be aware of early arrival expectations as well as submit an application on KnightLine for Residential Education and Housing by Aug. 2, 2014. Please include the date you wish to move into your fall placement and the reason for your early arrival. Please note that not all early arrival requests will be granted, so make sure to submit your application as early as possible.
