Safe Space

St. Norbert College, committed to providing caring responses to students and colleagues who experience gender-based violence, has a dedicated space where community members can feel safe, welcome and comfortable, specifically after a gender-based violence incident.

The Safe Space, located on the garden level of the Campus Safety House on the college campus, allows students, faculty, staff and alumni to share and discuss thoughts or stories and to confide in others about the effect of gender-based violence in their lives and in the campus community. It is a trauma-informed space and a sanctuary for those in need.

The Safe Space is open to SNC community members, both survivors and supporters, during regular business hours. It is also the home of St. Norbert College’s Survivor Support Groups.
