American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED Certification Course

Health Services is pleased to offer current SNC students, faculty and staff the American Heart Association First Aid/CPR/AED certification course. Certification is valid for two years.

At a minimum, classes are held during winter and summer breaks. Registration for winter classes is due Nov. 15, and registration for summer classes is due April 15.

At this time, due to COVID-19, changes in class instruction and demonstration have been implemented to minimize the ongoing threat of the spread of disease.

Classes will now be delivered through blended learning. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner online, followed by a hands-on session. Successful blended learning can reach students with varying learning styles and in different environments. It combines the flexibility of online training with skills practice and testing for CPR and other psychomotor skills.

Class fee is $50 per person for Heartsaver CPR/1st Aid/AED, or $75 for Heartsaver BLS (Basic Life Support). Payment is due at time of registration via cash, check payable to St. Norbert College Health Services, or department sponsorship. Refunds will be honored for cancellations received a minimum of seven (7) days prior to scheduled class.

Participants must be able to successfully complete all course requirements to receive a course completion card.

If you are interested in registering please email health@snc.edu
