Alex Gruber ’18

Area Coordinator

B.A., St. Norbert College
M.T.S., Boston College School of Theology and Ministry

Alex is a 2018 alum of St. Norbert College, where he studied theology/religious studies, history, and Spanish and worked as an RA and CA for Michels Hall. He earned his masters of theological studies from Boston College’s School of Theology and Ministry in 2020. Alex began working at St. Norbert College the following summer as an adjunct instructor and, later, as the liaison for students in quarantine or isolation due to COVID-19.

Alex entered the area coordinator role in January 2022. He supervises a staff of three resident assistants and two community assistants, all of whom work diligently to support students in the residential service program in Michels Hall and the Residential Themed Communities (RTC) who are positively impacting the Green Bay community through committed service. Alex also continues to teach as an adjunct instructor in the theology/religious department. He finds interacting with students and helping them succeed in both of his roles at the college a joy and an honor.

Alex enjoys bad puns, good theatre, and great books. In his free time, you can find him participating in OUT|LOUD@SNC Parish, listening to Wisconsin Public Radio or National Public Radio, or scouring the state for the best ice cream (Scoop DeVille in Hartford is his current favorite).
