to the Humanities and Fine Arts Division home page. The Division of Humanities and Fine Arts consists of art, classical studies, communication and media studies, English, modern foreign languages and literatures, history, music, philosophy, religious studies and theatre.
Taken as a whole the disciplinary offerings constitute an integral part of a liberal arts education and play a vital role in the intellectual, moral and personal development of our students. In addition to the major programs offered by individual disciplines, a divisional major is available for students seeking a broader range of courses in the Humanities and Fine Arts.
