The division of humanities and fine arts consists of nine academic disciplines:- Art

- Modern languages and literatures

- Philosophy
- Religious studies
- Theatre studies
It also sponsors four interdisciplinary programs:
In addition to the programs for majors and/or minors offered by individual disciplines and interdisciplinary programs, a divisional major is available for students seeking a broader range of courses in the humanities and fine arts in order to attain individualized academic and career goals. Taken as a whole, the disciplinary offerings constitute an integral part of a liberal arts education and play a vital role in the intellectual, moral and personal development of our students.
