It is typically applied to an extended field trip offered during winter break or spring break with associated lectures, labs, research and/or literature review. Special topics courses that include a field trip require an additional fee to cover expenses, such as travel. Prerequisites: GEOL 105 and instructor’s consent.

Credits: 2.0 or 4.0
