This course examines balance of payments, including current account and capital account; exchange-rate determination; purchasing power parity; open-economy macroeconomics; fiscal and monetary policies; fixed and flexible exchange rates; the role of the IMF and World Bank; and international debt crises. Prerequisites: ECON 101 and ECON 102.
