Student life

The campus experience at SNC

Go where your passions and interests take you

At St. Norbert College, there’s more to life than just attending classes — much more. With nearly 100 college clubs and student organizations and a calendar packed with performances, lectures, social activities and athletic events, our world is yours to dive into. Pursue your passions! Or develop new interests and see where they take you.

While you’re exploring, rest assured knowing someone has your back. Students choose SNC for many reasons: our academic reputation, a culture rooted in values, even our affordability. But most of all, they choose us because we create an environment that encourages discovery and growth. Student life at SNC is all about having a community that supports you. You can do what you love here, whatever that is. We’re going to present you with as many opportunities as we can to make sure you have the best college experience possible.

A student body where everybody matters

Nearly 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students come together at SNC, representing 26 states and 10 countries. We’re a unique group of people who support each other and embrace our diversity. You won’t be another face in the crowd here — you’ll be an important part of the fabric of our community.

An exceptional residential community experience

What does it mean that nearly all of our students live on campus? It means that people arrive as strangers but leave as classmates, roommates and lifelong friends. It’s easy to build relationships when SNC feels like home.

A culture committed to caring for each other — and for ourselves

We believe in bettering ourselves and doing good for others, too. You’ll also have the opportunity to serve your community through TRIPS alternative breaks and other service-learning activities.

Flexible student housing options

Because we’re a four-year residential college, you’ll live life among awesome roommates, familiar classmates and future best friends. We provide flexible housing options, including residence halls, townhouses, apartment-style suites, theme houses and college houses. Live, learn, work and play in our close-knit community of people who care.

  • I’m in Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE). I joined my first semester of freshman year. That was probably one of the most formative experiences that I’ve had. I came into college kind of unsure of myself – still outgoing. But when I joined, I got a bunch of brothers from different areas of campus and different ages, having an unlimited amount of role models in the group who helped me find and get more confident in who I was. It’s given me lifelong friends.

It’s all happening at St. Norbert College

Our campus is always bustling with activity. Catch an upcoming performance at the Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts, support local and internationally renowned artists at the Bush Art Center or participate in open and authentic dialogue with programs hosted by The Cassandra Voss Center.

In addition to eight academic centers with their own unique programs, the Mulva Library, office of multicultural services and student organizations also host events throughout the year. Check out our comprehensive events calendar to see what’s going on around campus. And if you haven’t visited our college, we invite you to experience SNC for yourself — whether in person or virtually.
