Humans of St. Norbert:

“I'm only one voice and there are millions of voices. I've taken a lot of time to reflect and learn after watching a video that documented a murder, that made me cry. That loss of life should bother any human being more than anything. It is ok to see differences. We may not look alike, believe alike, act alike and see alike. However to say you only see one race, means you don’t see me or anyone like me. Embrace differences and culture. It’s ok. Admit what you don’t know and ask, trust me, I will do the same. Don’t deflect, avoid or diminish. We are all God’s people, differences and all, but one thing that is non-negotiable is treating all humans with dignity, respect and compassion, while understanding we all just want to breathe and succeed. All of us want to come home to our family every night safely and I want the same for my family, friends, students and players every night. I hope that somehow we can leave our country in a better place for the next generation."
