Danielle Geerling is a social psychologist who studies questions of motivation and diversity, and is especially interested in the intersection of the two topics. For instance, she studies the social and psychological factors that keep students engaged in college-level coursework, with a goal of understanding how to make higher education an enjoyable, motivating, equitable space for all students.
