Ellen C. Kirkendall (formerly Chew) is a visiting assistant professor of German at St. Norbert College. She successfully defended her dissertation in February 2022. Kirkendall’s varied teaching and research interests include music, theater and performance studies, the Weimar Republic, Grimms’ fairy tales, language pedagogy and the Goethezeit.
