When you pursue a Master of Science in nursing degree through SNC’s partnership with Rush University, you open the door to expanded career possibilities in teaching, administration and other leadership roles.

Academic paths

Through this partnership, you may be able to obtain a Master of Science in nursing degree at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago following your studies at SNC. If you’re interested in following this career track, please work with your SNC advisor to determine the best schedule of courses to take during your four years at SNC.

Program prerequisites

  • Overall minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0 (on 4.0 scale) at SNC
  • Acceptable personal interview with Rush faculty
  • Acceptable GRE scores if cumulative GPA is less than 3.25
  • Recommendation from the health career advisor at SNC
  • Completed application to Rush University by the application deadline
  • Successful graduation from SNC with a minimum of three years of credit
