Communication and media studies

Learn to cut through all the noise

Are you fascinated by the way the media shape our world? Do you want to learn to craft focused, compelling, message-driven content that cuts through the noise and reaches your intended audience? At St. Norbert College, we provide a solid background in communication research and analysis, targeting audiences and evaluating your results. When you major in communication and media studies here, you’ll learn how to tell stories that are compelling and human, and you’ll learn to think critically about how those messages shape our world.

Academic paths within the communication and media studies major

As a communication and media studies major at SNC, we’ll teach you how to think critically about your intended audience and the message you want to convey. You’ll develop strong skills in analysis and writing, and be able to target specific groups without alienating others. These skills are invaluable in the workplace or in graduate school.

Earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication and media studies from SNC, with concentrations in communication or media.

A minor for any major

Minoring in communication and media studies is a great way to enhance your studies in other fields. It offers you a choice of two areas in which to focus: communication studies or media studies.
