From financial, legal and sports data to medical and educational metrics and scientific research, data is the backbone of the modern world. If you want to learn how to find meaning in big data in order to solve real-world problems, consider studying toward a data analytics degree at St. Norbert College.
Data analytics is critical to solving modern business challenges. The data analytics curriculum is a collaboration between disciplines in the Schneider School of Business & Economics and the natural sciences. It also draws on SNC’s liberal arts core curriculum to provide you with the perspective and contextual framework employers seek. You’ll be well-equipped to identify patterns, form insightful questions, evaluate claims, make inferences and effectively communicate data-driven answers to pressing questions. You also can pursue a minor in the field.
Your senior thesis provides an opportunity to show off what you’ve learned — and you’ll leave SNC with a professional-quality writing sample to show off to potential employers. Our proximity to locations like Green Bay, Oshkosh and Milwaukee gives students access to college internships with world-class corporations and organizations where they can apply their knowledge in fields as diverse as marketing and communications, product development, sports analytics, public health, community development, banking and finance.
