St. Norbert College

You’ve sent in your deposit, now what?

Before you start planning your room layout or packing your bags, there are a few details that need to be taken care of to make sure your transition to St. Norbert College goes smoothly.

If you have questions between now and the start of the school year, please contact the office of admission at or 920-403-3005.

Check your applicant status page regularly

Your admitted student portal is where we’ll update you on important details.

Activate your SNC network and email accounts

To activate your account, you’ll need your nine-digit SNC ID number that is included on your emailed checklist. Please contact your admission counselor if you need any help locating it.

  • Navigate to and click “Activate a new account.”
  • Enter your nine-digit St. Norbert College ID number.
  • Enter your date of birth (and last four digits of your Social Security Number, if prompted), and select “Submit.”
  • Create a new password that meets the password requirements listed.
  • When you are logging into your email for the first time, you may be prompted to set up single sign-on (SSO) using Okta, SNC's SSO provider, and a smartphone. If you have any questions on this step, contact or 920-403-4040. More information is also available from ITS.
* SNC email is hosted by Gmail. If you have a personal Gmail account, you'll need to log out before logging in with your full SNC email address and password.

Apply for housing

Online registration for housing opens Dec. 1. All first-year students are required to live on campus, so we’re holding a spot for you — but we want to know your top choices for residence halls. Residence hall selections are assigned in priority order based on your deposit date, not your application date.

Ready to choose your residence hall? Check out our first-year housing options. All of our first-year residence halls are coeducational.

Housing applications aren’t processed until after summer orientation, so you have until June 23 to get your roommate selections in. If you haven’t found a roommate yet, don’t worry! We have a great track record for helping students find their perfect match.

You’ll receive your final housing assignments and roommate information in mid-July, so be sure to check your SNC email account!

Register for summer orientation

This is where you’ll get to meet other incoming students, connect with campus organizations and start to get a feel for college. Orientation is mandatory for all first-year students, and everyone at SNC is ready to help you feel right at home! Registration opened Feb. 1, and session selection is on a first-come, first-served basis — so sign up early! Summer orientation dates for 2024 include June 13, 14, 17 and 18.

Log into KnightLine

KnightLine is our secure student portal where you’ll accept or decline your financial aid offer, register for classes and check your grades.

To log in, go to and select “KnightLine Login.” Enter your six-letter SNC username and password.

If you experience problems logging into KnightLine, please contact us at or 920-403-3005.

Complete your advisement survey

This survey helps us advise you on the best course selection for your first semester at SNC by providing us with an idea of your background, interests and writing level. Fill out your advisement survey here.

Learn more about preparing for your advisement meeting during the Zoom Information Session on Monday, April 29th at 7:00pm CST.

Complete your placement tests

All incoming students will need to complete placement testing for math and modern languages, and a self placement for writing. Most placement tests usually take 20-30 minutes to complete and are completed remotely.

Please note that AP tests and transfer credits from other colleges are posted after students meet with an advisor for registration, so placement test information can help students and advisors best determine the appropriate course selection. Placement tests must be completed one week in advance of a student’s advisement and registration appointment. This ensures that the placements are reviewed and scores have been entered into the system.

Find more information on placement testing.

Register for classes

After you complete the advisement survey, you can schedule an appointment with an advisor who will help you register for your fall classes based on your survey responses. Advising sessions will start in May.

Submit your required health forms

Student health is a top priority at SNC. Please submit your health history, immunization records and insurance information prior to summer orientation. Health forms are available in May, after you’ve registered for classes.

Sign the student payment and disclosure agreement for the student account’s office

You are required to review the Undergraduate Student Payment and Disclosure agreement and sign the form using LaserFiche. If you are a dependent, your parent or guardian will need to sign as well. Be sure to read this and understand the terms! This form must be completed prior to the first day of class.

Upload your photo for your student ID

We want to see your smiling face! You can upload your favorite photo using these instructions for photo submission, or have your photo taken on campus during summer orientation.

Join your "Class of" group on mySNC

We wanted to make a space just for you! Our mySNC “Class of” groups are a great place to connect with others, ask questions and maybe even find a roommate. You automatically have access to your group once you deposit. Just go to your mySNC homepage and click on the “My groups” section.

Fulfill the student laptop requirement

You will need a laptop with a webcam to begin the fall semester. If you’re not sure what kind to bring, check out our suggestions. We recommend that you don’t bring a Chromebook as your primary device.

Get credit for your AP/IB classes

To receive college credit for your AP or IB courses, you’ll need to have your official scores sent to us. Contact College Board for AP Scores and IB Org for IB reports.

Submit your final transcripts

We need a final transcript that includes a graduation date to make sure that you’ve received credit for all of your hard work. Contact your high school and they’ll send it directly to our office of admission.

Services for students with disabilities

If you need accommodations due to a documented disability — of any kind, including academic — complete the disability notification form. Someone from our academic success, support and accessibility office will contact you and help with the rest of the process.
